U. S. v. Falstaff Brewing Corp. 410 U. S. 527 (1973) U. S. Supreme Court A landmark anti-trust suit against Falstaff. The government charged that In buying Harragansett Brewing, Falstaff would unfairly damage beer sales competition in New England. Falstaff won but the cost was disasterous, contributing to the eventual sale of Falstaff to Paul Kalmanovitz. This case has become an oft cited precedent in anti-trust cases.
